Fruit by the Foot

Fruit by the Foot is a snack product made by Betty Crocker. Introduced in 1991, it is a flat, foot long in length fruit snack.

Fruit by the Foot was awesome for lunch trades! Since it was soooo long, you could rip parts of it to make multiple trades!

It was the ultimate fashion accessory, I saw kids use it as a belt, cast, arm band, head band, it goes on and on! We were like so fashion inventive in the 90s!

I used my Fruit by the Foot as a Hot Wheel’s track. I put all my Hot Wheel’s cars on it and pretended we racing on Mars! What made it cooler was that I watched Biker Mice from Mars at the same time! I still ate it too.

Craziest thing I’ve seen a 90s kid do with Fruit by the Foot was as a grappling hook. He tried swing across the classroom Tarzan style with it via a light fixture. Thankfully the ambulance weren’t needed.

I think a 90s kid “zombified” himself with Fruit by the Foot.
