Dot Com Bubble

From 1994 to 2000, tech stocks soared due to investor’s increasing excitement of internet dot-coms. Billions of dollars were invested in .com companies because of their potential worth.

My dad would watch one of the stock market channels and it was crazy hearing the .com companies getting appraised in the billions. Names like mayonnaise.com could get you millions, just because. The internet was in it’s early beginnings and it was exciting, but everyone was moving too fast.
If I cop’d friedbolognaandmustard.com I’d be a billion. I was too busy playing Star Fox darn it!
